finding ways to resist the insanity
Let's face it the world is an insane place. Being that is a given you have to find ways of keeping your head above water. There are ways to preserve your mind and gradually become a force for good over time. The situation is not as hopeless as it would seem. I was aware of that as well.

the changing face of freedom
Freedom has a new face and that face is the nation of India. It will be many things to many people. It will be political liberty, the Chinese counter weight and it will be much more than that. India represents the future of the world and not he past. It is the changing face of freedom.

the freedom of speech
Liberals both in congress and without are waging a calculated war on the freedom of speech. They at the core hate the idea of liberty and they want it only for themselves. When we get rid of such cherished institutions we become one step closer to everything that we most despised. Namely that of dictatorship. The fairness doctrine is anything but fair. It is a naked attempt by the left to muzzle its critics. This cowardly assault on American Values cannot be let to move forward. I was aware of that as well.

In India Term Limits are a good thing
After American President Franklin D. Roosevelt died in office in 1945 America enacted term limits on the US Presidency. India should do the same thing with both the presidency and the prime minister's post. Knowing the Indian love of octogenerian politicians you run the risk of having one of them die while in office. Term limits would end this once and for it. Additionally it would help bring new blood to the for. I was aware of that as well.

the fate of free societies
terrorism is the bane that all free societies sooner or later will have to go through. India and others are ahead of this curb but eventually this problem will replicate itself in Los Angeles California, in Seoul South Korea and Hambourg Germany. Terrorists believe that all societies should be the model of the unsuccessful societies that spawned them. The idea of political liberty is alien to these people. We must make a united stand now.

To Kill a Mockingbird is overrated
Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird is vastly overrated and not all that good a read. Philip K Dick put out better stuff than this on a continuous basis. Certain writer's I have never developed a taste for and she is one of them. I was aware of that as well.

unleashing your inner genius
There is a great genius in everyone of us right now. It is only waiting to be unleashed. Certain forces or great events bring genius to the for. Genius is not limited to an elite few rather it is possessed by every human being. Every human being can be a potential Da Vinci or Einstein all we have to do is awaken it.

soul of the poet
Right now I am becoming a better poet. At the current time I have a poet's soul. It looks to be good times from here on out. Still nothing is ever quite the same way again. I was aware of that as well.

the greatness of Philip K Dick
Over the span of the next five years more credit will go to the ligitimate genuis that was Philip K Dick. The man when he was alive was a genuine visionary. Philip K Dick had the unique gift to make the far out seem remarkably real. The ideas and thoughts he espoused in his fiction are still vital and potent today as when they were first written thirty five years ago. It is sad that we only accord genuius in retrospect. We rarely understand visionaries when they are around and it takes decades and in some cases centuries for us to understand what they were truly about.

emerging in Verse
Right now I am working to become a better poet. This has proven to be a rather unique situation to say the least. Right now I will have to make the most out of it and I know it. I was aware of that as well.

the new face of freedom
India today is the new face of freedom. It is the world's largest democracy. Also it is a rising power. India should model itself after the brare rabbit. The small creature in former slave stories that defeated foxes, wolves and bears through superior intelligence and skill. This should be India's idea as it moves forward. India is freedom for the world.

free and clear
Right now I am feeling free and clear. It is a good feeling to say the least as I move forward. The situation could be a lot worse. However it also could be better at the present time. At the current moment I am looking towards bigger and better things. I was aware of that as well.

promise of a new beginning
Right now a new beginning for me is in the works. The situation is changing and for the better. Still a lot remains as of yet to be done at the present time. Putting it all together will be difficult and I know it. I was aware of that as well.

the fate of free societies
Terrorism and how to deal with it is the scourge of modern mankind. Every free society will have to deal with this menace sooner or later. Here in India we have witnessed it first hand. Terrorists loath the idea of political liberty and they believe that all societies on Earth should be the models of the unsuccessful societies that spawned them. Dealing with the terrorist threat is our task now. I was aware of that as well.

Legacy of Fire
America in Afghanistan is a legacy of fire. Right now we are not doing enough to help the Afhgan peole. We really need to do more. Finding away to stop the Taliban is not going to be simple. Yet it must be done. The legacy of fire is here. I was aware of that as well.

the second Iran revolution
What the country of Iran really needs right now is a second and secular revolution. Right now paranioa and despotism prevail in Iran and it is to the deficiency of its people. Ayotallah Khameini and Mahmoud Amendinejad are the emobiment of evil. The Iranian people should rise up on mass and chuck those nutcases out. They would be really served well in doing so. I was aware of that as well.

Al Franken is useless as US Senator
The junior Senator from Minnesota one Al Franken is largely useless. He quizzed judicial nominee Appeals Judge Sonia Sotomayor about Perry Mason. Really you nothing genuinely constructive to add to teh given debate. if this is the average level of contributions you give to the US Senate on a regular basis you should retire Mr. Franken. I was aware of that as well.

the working life
Right now I am working hard and earning my paycheck. It looks like good times so far. Things could be better. But they could also be distinctly worse. Such is th nature of the working life. I was aware of that as well.

Bollywood is largely useless
Indian cinema principally known as Bollywood is largely useless. They make fake, cheesey films that are largely kitsch. Bollywood is still vastly inferior to Hollwood in most respects of the term. I was aware of that as well.

The way we are now
Where things are going is difficult to predict. The convoluted nature of the current situation makes things difficult to predict. Personally I had been hoping to get more done by now. However I have to settle with what I can get. Be safe and clean.

promoting a culture of innovation
As a whole Indians are not very innovative technology wise. Although that is changing. Recently one of the inventors of TCPIP the internet technology was an Indian trained engineer. For all its culture of learneing it needs to innovate if India wants to move forward. China and America have long histories as innovators in technology. India can learn from their examples.

Reading Philip K Dick
Philip K Dick was a low rent visionary. His ideas seem as hauntingly real today as they did twenty years ago when he last lived. Philip K Dick gave us Blade-Runner, Paycheck, Minority Report and A Scanner Darkly. His far out worlds seemed to be both prescient and remarkably real.

Google is guilty of theft
Google's book search function is guilty of massive copyright infringments. I wonder what was running through the minds of Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they approved of this project. Did you know that those authors worked hard to create those books. It is not your content and do not presume it is yours. Personally I hope the the author's guild take google to the wood shed over this.

The Nature of Lying
If we think that the discredited weapons of mass destruction was a snow job which it was then we have to think of the Gulf of Tonking Resolution as a similiar snow job. President Lyndon B. Johnson lied to get us into Vietnam faking the attack on a US Navy Destroyer the USS Maddox in the Gulf of Tonking. If we decree men like Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz and Douglas Fife as evil. Why do we not hold to accound Johnson? The answer is because he is a democrat. Johnson and McNamara, namely Robert McNamara the former defense secretary were architects of the failed Vietnam policy. It represented a huge dereliction of duty from the President on down. The Vietnam conflict only escalated after President John Kennedey's electoral victory in 1960. The previous President Dwight D. Einsenhower resisted putting combat troops in Vietnam. Vietnam was an eight year long war that lasted from 1964-1972. It killed more than three hundred thousand Vietnamese and Fifty Thousand Americans. The conflict turned millions more into refugees. If we applied Congressman Denis Cousinitch's weak calculus of lying as jailable offense then would have had to arrest Kennedey, Johnson and McNamara. Richard Nixon only inhereted Vietnam and its problems from his predecessor. I was aware of that as well.
