The Legacy of Lord North

At the time of the American Revolution Lord North was the worst Prime Minister in British History. Consider how he lost the American Revolution. The British who had a significant manpower, supply and weapons advantage subsequently forfeited all of their gains and lost horribly ending in 1781 in the Battle of Yorktown which really was the nail in the coffin of the North led government. His stubborn refusal to acknowledge his own mistakes led to his dissmissal as prime minister in 1782 a year after Yorktown. He was the John Defenbacher of Great Britain. I was aware of that as well.
